Compression Therapy consists of dynamic compression devices designed for recovery and rehab. The boot goes from the bottom of your foot to the top of your thigh. It inflates with air and compresses your thigh. It increases blood and oxygen flow in your legs which increases circulation, relieves muscle soreness, and greatly improves performance and recovery. The US Women’s soccer team uses these regularly to prevent injury.
Benefits of Compression Therapy
• Increases Blood Circulation
• Relieves Muscle Tension
• Accelerates recovery & improves performance
• Reduces Excess Fluid & Lactic Acid
• Reduces Muscle Soreness

Created by a physician bioengineer (MD, PhD) to enhance blood flow and speed recovery, the NormaTec PULSE Massage Pattern employs three key techniques—pulsing, distal release, and gradients—all to maximize your recovery.
HOW IT WORKS: BIOMIMICRY
PULSINGInstead of using static compression (squeezing) to transport fluid out of the limbs, NormaTec Pulse Technology uses dynamic compression (pulsing).
Our patented pulsing action more effectively mimics the muscle pump of the legs and arms, greatly enhancing the movement of fluid and metabolites out of the limbs after an intense workout.
GRADIENTSVeins and lymphatic vessels have one-way valves that prevent fluid backflow. Similarly, NormaTec Pulse Technology uses hold pressures to keep fluids from being forced in the wrong direction.
Because of this enhancement, instead of tapering pressure off, the PULSE and PULSE PRO can deliver maximum pressure in every zone.
DISTAL RELEASEBecause extended static pressure can be detrimental to the body’s normal circulatory flow, Sequential Pulse Technology releases the hold pressures once they are no longer needed to prevent backflow.
By releasing the hold pressure in each zone as soon as possible, each portion of the limb gains maximal rest time without a significant pause between compression cycles.

FAQ’s
+ What Do I Wear?
We provide socks. We recommend comfortable pants.
+ Does it hurt?
Compression therapy is very comfortable and our clients have described it as 4 people massaging you. The system uses air technology to pulse into the boots to massage your legs.
+ How long is the session?
Sessions are between 30-90mins. Depending on your schedule and combined with other services we recommend starting with 30min sessions. Clients with unlimited memberships and packages typically do 60min sessions.
