FAQs:

What do I wear?

We provide socks. We recommend comfortable pants for the legs or hips and long sleeve t-shirts if using the arms unit.

How does it feel?

Compression therapy is very comfortable and our clients have described it as multiple people massaging you. The system uses air technology to pulse into the boots to massage your legs.

How long is the session?

Sessions are 30 mins.

How many sessions for results?

The number of sessions needed to see results can vary depending on the individual and the condition being treated. Some people may notice improvements in circulation and reduced swelling after just one session. For chronic conditions, such as venous disorders or lymphedema, consistent use over several weeks or months may be required to achieve optimal results.

Science Behind the Service:

Compression therapy involves wearing specially designed garments, such as socks, sleeves, or wraps, that apply controlled pressure to your limbs. This pressure helps improve blood flow, reduce swelling, and support veins. By enhancing circulation, compression therapy can aid in faster recovery, reduce muscle soreness, and prevent issues like deep vein thrombosis (DVT).

A study titled "The Use of Compression Therapy in the Management of Venous Disorders" published in Phlebology in 2013 provides an overview of how compression therapy works and its benefits for venous health.
