Detox, Relax, Renew with Infrared Sauna

Heat therapy using far infrared light to heat the body from the inside out.

Infrared Sauna Therapy is heat therapy. Infrared Saunas are similar to regular saunas in the sense that it is used to sweat out toxins. The difference is that we use Far Infrared light that penetrates deeper into your body – up to 3 inches beneath your skin, thus heating you from the inside out.  It relaxes your muscles, stimulates blood and oxygen flow, detoxifies, and promotes weight loss.

Wear comfortable clothes like a bathing suit. You'll have a private room with towels provided.

How hot does it get?
Our infrared saunas can reach up to 150 degrees Fahrenheit, with temperature control for your comfort; however, infrared sauna temperature is best at 120-130 degrees.

How long is the session?
The session is 30 minutes.

How many sessions for results?
The number of infrared sauna sessions needed to see results can vary based on individual goals and conditions. Many people start to experience benefits, such as improved relaxation and detoxification, after just a few sessions. For more significant results, like enhanced skin health, pain relief, and improved circulation, consistent use over several weeks is recommended. Typically, 2-3 sessions per week over a period of 4-8 weeks can yield noticeable improvements. Your specific plan can be tailored to your needs and desired outcomes.

What is the difference between Far and Near-Infrared Light?
Our Maxxus Saunas utilize Far-Infrared Light Technology. Far infrared systems provide deep detoxification and heavy natural sweating, offering benefits up to seven times more effectively than standard sauna units. While near infrared offers topical relief, far infrared heats the body from within, producing a profound sweating experience that promotes holistic healing and rejuvenation.

Science Behind the Service:

Infrared sauna therapy uses infrared light to generate heat, which penetrates the skin and warms the body directly. This deep heat increases your core temperature, promoting sweating, detoxification, improved circulation, and muscle relaxation. Unlike traditional saunas, infrared saunas operate at lower temperatures, making the experience more comfortable while still providing therapeutic benefits.

A study titled "Effect of Sweating" published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) in 1981 discusses the health benefits of infrared sauna therapy, including improved cardiovascular health and detoxification.
